For the last six months, BMS World Mission has been running a postcard campaign against human trafficking.
In transit has urged UK Christians to declare their opposition to trafficking and their support for what Albanian Christians are doing in both awareness training and in lobbying their government.
A huge thank you to all of you who have got behind In transit, by returning postcards and making the issue known in your churches and your communities. Were still processing data, but we have got over 10,000 postcards, which is a tremendous response.
Well be giving you the final number, and news of the forthcoming visit to take the petition of names to the Albanian ambassador in London, shortly.
Although In transit has ended, the issue of human trafficking of course has not. Through our representative Hannah Wilson and partners in Albania, and other countries, BMS will continue to campaign against trafficking.
